7-20-10

7-11 game came off very well . We had 11 players on the field and we had some new faces as well as the return of Jake S.. It was nice that he could get out of his recliner and join us...especially at his age !!!

We are still experimenting with playing the games with only the paint you have in your hopper. Seems to be working out very nicely. Depending upon the game scenario we do bring out more paint to make it more interesting.

Next open game is 7-25-10. Same place and same time as usual. Check the Games and Events page for any changes.

Another note is we will have to start charging for C02 refills. First fill is free with field fee. After the first fill there will be a $3.00 charge for each refill or tank exchange. If you have any questions about this please contact me or Charlie

7-6-10

6-27 game was a nice and almost mosquito free affair. We had 9 players on the field and there seemed to be more ass sniping than usual. Special thanks to Steve S. for upping the confirmed ass kills on the field !!!

We played a couple games with just the paint you had in your hopper and the last couple with two extra tubes you could bring out.

With the brush growing larger and thicker there is definitely more sneakiness going on and you have to watch every pile of dirt or weeds you see. There always seems to be somebody there.

Next game is July 11th at 1:00 at Charlies field. See ya there !!

6-22-10

The 6-6 game was an event that you had to think and also be cautious at the same time due to the game scenario we came up with.

We had approximately 18 players on the field and we played each game with the scenario you only came on the field with the paint you had in your hopper. No Extra paint !!

This ended up being an interesting way to play and the games were a little slower but still a lot of fun. With just this amount of paint you really had to place your shots well and think about how much paint you had left. No spraying and praying !!

The general concensus was that we should play this scenario more often. We will adjust as needed to play different games but I think this will be the norm for a while.

We are still open to any scenario ideas you players can come up with. We are always looking for new and freaky ideas.

If you have any questions please contact me or Charlie and we will try to get the proper info to you.

5-26-10

The game on 5-23 was a hot and intense affair. The weather was hot and humid with very little breeze to cool you down. We had 18 to 20 players on the field all day and all of us suffered multiple hits all day !! Basically.. not only did you get hit ...you got hammered... all day long !!! Tons of fun!!!

When you get on the field you will definitely notice some changes. Charlie, Dave and Craig have cleared out some downed trees and have built  new bunkers and also repaired some old ones. They have done a remarkable job and have made the field more fun to play on !!!!!

Once again we had new players on the field and they took the pain very well. By all accounts they will be coming back for more !!! They must love the pain(?)

We also have some new pics and a 10 minute video thanks to Eddie R. again. I will post these on site as soon as I can.

Check your e-mail and the Games and Events page for the next upcoming games. One of these games will be on a Saturday so be aware of this.  I have posted both game dates on the site.
5-12-10

The 5-9 game went off very well in spite of the fact that it was Mother's day. The field was in really good shape even after all the rain we had. We had a total of 11 players on the field including some newbies to the game and the field.

The newbies played very well and were introduced to a game of Civil war much to their chagrine. However they took it pretty good and remained in good spirits even after the pain. We even had an ass sniping and a crotch shot to complete the day.

Eddie R. took some more pictures and short game videos which I am putting on this site. If you look closely at them you will notice a fresh coat of paint on the plywood bunkers to help seal them from all the rain we have had. A big thanks goes out to Eddie for the pictures and videos.

Next Open Game is scheduled for Sunday, May 23rd @ 1:00 at Charlie's field. Check the Games and Events page for prices. Of course... keep aware of the weather situation and check the page for any changes.

5-04-10

Well guys....been a wee bit soggy lately.
With all this rain the field has been unplayable. Hopefully the rain will hold off so we can play Sunday, May 9th. Game time is 12:00 at the field at 700 North and 200 West. Keep one eye on the weather and the other on the Games and Events page for any updates. I will let you know as quickly as possible if there are any changes.

Field/air fee is $10.00 and you can bring you own paint. Charlie will have paint for sale @ $15.00 per 500 balls. We will have H.P. and Co2 on the field.

As soon as the field dries up we will be scheduling some workdays to get the field back in shape. There are some downed trees that need to be removed and some bunkers that need repair and to be remarked for identification purposes. All this rain has done some damage to bunkers and we need to take care of this as soon as we can.

If you have any questions and/or scenario ideas please let me or Charlie know.

04-11-10

Today was a beautiful day to play our first game of 2010 and we made the most of it !!! There were 18 players on the field and according to the participants a good time was had by all.

We got off to a slow start trying to figure out how much C02 we had on hand. There was also a little confusion about the H.P. fill station but we got everything worked out and the games were on.

A special thanks goes out to Craig T. for keeping the H.P. compressor going and running C02 from the garage to the field. Craig and I will start filling the H.P. tanks earlier for the next game.

Thanks to Steve S.,Jake S., and Bob S. for coming out. Thanks to Tony L.,Jim L. and gang for making the show. Thanks go out to Tom, Parker, Dave H., Tim, James, Evan and Dave. All these players made this a very enjoyable day!!! It really was fun...

Eddie R. took some still pictures and some short videos of the action and these will soon be posted on the site to update our gallery.

Next scheduled game is on Sunday,4-25-10 at 1:00 p.m. at Charlies field. Bring your own paint and the air should be on time for the start of the game.

We are going to schedule some work days to get the field cleaned up and repair some bunkers in need of a little love. These dates will be brought up on site and in team e-mails.

Check the Games and Events page for any changes to the game schedule and other info. If you have any questions you can call Charlie or myself.

03-28-10

We had our paintball meeting last night and though the turn out was low we did come to terms on some things.

We have an open game scheduled on April 4th, 2010 at the field at 700 North and 200 West . If any of you need directions give me a call and I will guide you in. You will have to bring your own paint at this point. The air we should have covered right now. Field fee is $10.00 per player and game time is 1:00p.m.. Check the site to make sure game is on if weather looks like it may a concern.

The Children of the Corn game is being scheduled for Saturday, October 16th, 2010. Rain date will be October 23rd 2010. Fees, times and which field we will play on will be upcoming. If you have any questions at this time please contact me and I will give the best answer I can.

I will be posting the info on the Michigan game this week for any of you interested in going. I am also getting some info on other similar type games so we have options as to what games we would like to try out.

I do have a question for all of you....We have always tried to have a game every two weeks. We all know money is tight  for everyone these days. My question is ...Do you want to try and play every 2 weeks or space it out a little ? Let me or Mike R. know so we can schedule games we all can afford to play and not go to loan sharks to keep our heads above water.

I want to thank Donnie, "Super Dave", Dave H. and gang for coming to the meeting last night. We have a base point to start this year. Donnie also said his field could be playable a couple games this year if we want to. I am going to take a look at his field to see what needs to be dome to play on it. This is a viable option if we want to give it a shot.

01-09-10

It's a new year and time to start playing again when the weather starts cooperating. I believe a couple of snow games would get us off to a good start!

Last year didn't end the way I had hoped since the Corn game didn't go off. That won't happen again!!!
I have plans to continue with our night games and get back to some of our tournaments again. I will have to have help from you guys since I can't depend on anyone else to ease the "pain". Everytime we leave a part of the plan to someone else they let us down and I will not let this continue to happen!! We have put on some good games for many years without outside help and we are going back to the old way of doing things. All major decisions will be made by the team and the team only !!! That's the way it will be from now on!!! Any ideas from team members will be welcome and given attention to.

We need funds to hold these games so we all need to catch up on member dues. At $5.00 a month/$60.00 a year this is still the best deal around. We need money to operate as does any other team. Also remember that all paid members have a say in how team money is spent, not just Mike and me.

Here are some things we need to think about and that will cost money to achieve. We need to find a way to have paint at the field for players and how to properly store the paint. Selling paint is another way to make money too. We have H.P. but we still need to have CO2 at the field. We make money on air too. Remember...our prices on paint and air have always been very reasonable and will continue to be that way. We need new members and to have all members, new or old, up to date on dues. As I noted before our dues are a good deal.
